Is a Dodge Charger a good first car?

Is it a bad idea to give my son my old Dodge Charger as his first car? I don’t drive it anymore, and I want it to go to good use, but I’m not sure if it would be the best choice as a first car for a teenager.

You’re right to be cautious! A Dodge Charger is considered one of
the worst first cars
for teenagers due to its high top speed. Usually, it’s better to opt for a slower, less expensive car for your teen’s first set of wheels.
If you’re okay with the idea of trading in your Charger, you could trade in your old car for a slower, more reliable vehicle with more passenger space for your son. If you’d really like your son to have your old car, however, make sure to discuss speed and safety before you let your son drive away!
Whether you get a new car or stick with your Charger, you’ll need to update your car insurance. Finding affordable coverage for teens can be challenging, but the
