Is a Cadillac catalytic converter covered under warranty?
My Cadillac’s only a few years old, but I’m having trouble passing emissions testing. It’s still a new car and I feel like this should be a warranty repair—will it be covered?

The old emissions test. Necessary, but still kinda annoying—especially when you don’t pass! Here’s the good news: a Cadillac’s catalytic converter is covered under warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first.
This is part of the Emissions Control Systems warranty, which is separate from the other components of their warranty. If you live in California, it might also be covered under the California Emissions Control System Warranty. Ask your dealership for details.
