Jumpstarting
a car with a generator is entirely possible—so long as you have the correct type of generator. You’ll need to use a model with an electric start—any other type of generator will not be effective.
Simply connect the external battery of the generator to your car battery with your jumper cables, and turn the generator on. Allow it to run for a few minutes, then try turning your car on.
