How to make electric cars sound good?
I like the look of electric cars, but I really hate how quiet they are. My friends and I are looking to get cars and fix them up so they sound cool, but electric cars are pretty much silent. How do you make electric cars sound good?

Great question! Electric cars are known for many things, but being loud is not one of them! Some electric vehicles like Tesla allow you to play set a sound to play from the external speakers that sounds pretty realistic.
Some EVs have what is called Active Sound Design (ASD) which is a technology that allows you to program which sounds you hear inside and outside your vehicle. For example, this video shows what a
modified Tesla
sounds like. To make sure your vehicle has it, check the model details and special features. For safety reasons, many regions are mandating future EVs have sounds so that pedestrians and those hard-of-hearing can be safe with EVs on the road. With this, Some companies are trying to design their own specific sound that is recognizable like Porsche or Netflix.
There are some companies jumping on the market early to market preprogrammed buts realistic engine sounds to EV owners. EngineVox is just one of the startup companies designed to replicate the acoustics of a traditional engine car.
