How much will it cost to fix my car radio?

I bought a used car in which the radio doesn’t work. It didn’t bother me at first; after all, I was just looking for a set of wheels to get me to and from work, and I didn’t have the funds to be picky. I’m in a better financial situation now, and I would like to have some tunes when I drive to work. How much can I expect to pay to fix my car’s radio?

It takes a lot of discipline to improve your financial situation; good for you for working so hard! The good news is that it can be fairly cheap, depending on the issue with your radio. It can cost anywhere from $25 to $300 to fix your
used car’s
radio.
Let’s start with cheaper options. If the fuse has blown, it’s fairly easy and cheap to replace. You can call a dealership or mechanic to order the part for about $30 and you can even replace this yourself.
If it’s an issue with the wiring, you’ll want a professional to take a look. They know what to look for, lowering the risk of hurting yourself or your car. You’ll have to pay for parts and labor, which can get more expensive, running upwards of $100.
If the problem is the radio itself, then you can replace it. Depending on how much you’ve saved and how luxurious you want your sound system to be, you can find lower-cost radios as low as $150. If you decide to splurge, notify your car insurance company and look into
sound system coverage
