I've had the same old gas guzzler since my early 20s, and I've recently upgraded to electric. I'm now 45, and I'd like to ride my electric hooptie till the wheels fall off. So, how much mileage can I expect my electric car to get over its lifetime?

the battery pack will last up to 200,000 miles before its range becomes restricted. Living in extreme temperatures like hot climates can affect your battery capacity faster than those living in temperate areas. High heat and lithium-ion chemistry don’t go together. Even though many electric cars have a built-in liquid-cooled battery pack, minimizing range is still a risk.
