How much hp does a turbo add?

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze. And while it’s been a reliable car, it has almost no pep at all. However, I’ve read that it’s a decent candidate for a turbocharge. I just want to know: how much horsepower does a turbo add to a car?

A 2014
Chevy Cruze
is no slouch, but if you want more power, a turbocharger is definitely an option. The Cruze gets 151 horsepower, but a turbo can add 30% to 40% to that amount. This equates to a new, turbocharged engine with 196 to 211 hp.
If you want to
modify your car
with a turbocharger, shop around to find the best price. With professional installation, expect to pay about $1,000 to $1,300. But it’s a small price to pay for the power you’ll achieve.
And just as you would with a turbocharger, always make sure to shop around for car insurance via the
Jerry
app. With the savings you make, you can put it toward your turbocharger to offset part of the cost.
