EVs (electric vehicles) can be plugged into a household outlet or at a charging station, and the amount of electricity they need depends largely on how big of a battery your car has. With that said, most EVs take around 50-150 kW of electricity to fully charge their batteries.
If you drive around 30 miles per day then you’re looking at something in the ballpark of 285 kW a month. Depending on where you live, that’ll come out to roughly $7-9 per battery fill up. Not shabby!
