As an aftermarket item, a turbo kit will inevitably vary significantly in price. Overall, though, you’ll probably end up paying somewhere between $3,000 and $5,000 dollars for a Ford F150 4.6 turbo kit to start.
From there, you’ll need to get a quote from a mechanic for the labor costs. If your mechanic has done a lot of similar jobs, they may be able to get it wrapped up in 7 to 10 hours—but it’s not uncommon for these jobs to take 25 hours or more.
