How much do Uber drivers make in Alaska?

My wife and I are moving to Alaska soon for her job. I don’t currently have any work lined up but I figured I could drive for Uber while looking for something more permanent. Would I make anything in Alaska? How much do Uber drivers there typically make?

On average, Uber drivers in Alaska make around $42,200, but the typical range is between $35,100 and $51,500.
Many factors can play into how much money you’ll actually make as an Uber driver, though. The following will all impact your salary:
  • Your city
  • The number of drivers already working there
  • The time of day you’re driving
  • Your driving experience
  • How often you drive
It could be a good idea to look up the specific area of Alaska you and your wife are moving to and see what the Uber supply and demand is like. You may also wish to look up typical vehicle operation costs for Uber because those will come out of your total money made, too.
