How many years is my BMW factory warranty?

I bought a new BMW last week, but I don’t remember what my sales rep said about the warranty. How long does the BMW factory warranty last?

No worries! Your factory warranty lasts four years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
All new BMWs come with the New BMW Limited Warranty. The warranty period starts on the vehicle’s sales date and lasts for four years or 50,000 miles.
If you experience any defects in materials or workmanship that originated in the BMW factory, BMW will fully cover the cost of repairing your car.
Not enough coverage for you? You can also tack on the BMW Extended Warranty, which will cover your vehicle for up to seven years or 100,000 miles beyond the expiration of your original factory warranty.
Now that we’ve cleared that up, you should purchase a
