How many Scion tCs were made?
I’ve always been a big fan of the Scion brand, but I never got my hands on one. I’m really interested in looking for a tC, but I’m not sure how hard it will be. How many Scion tC were ever made?

Scion tC
is one of the rarer Scion models with a unique paint color for every model year and no more than 3,500 units produced in a single model year.In total, Toyota produced 23,900 Scion tC from 2005 to 2016 before ending production with the disbanding of the Scion brand. That’s less than 2,000 cars per year, on average. The numbers per year vary, but that means that certain colors are much rarer than others.
Here are the Scion tC’s colors and units produced by model year:
- 2005: Absolutely Red; 2,500 units
- 2006: Blue Blitz Mica; 2,600 units
- 2007: Blizzard Pearl; 2,500 units
- 2008: Galactic Gray Mica, 2,300 units
- 2009: Gloss Black; 2,000 units
- 2010: Speedway Blue; 1,100 units
- 2011: No units produced
- 2012: High Voltage Yellow; 2,200 units
- 2013: Absolutely Red; 2,000 units
- 2014: Silver Ignition; 3,500 units
- 2015: Two Tone Magma Orange and Gloss Black; 2,000 units
- 2016: Barcelona Red; 1,200 units
