How many points before your license is suspended in Louisiana?

Does Louisiana have a maximum number of driving points that you can get before you lose your license or have it suspended? I got a speeding ticket last week and now I’m worried about my record!

Actually, the state of
Louisiana
doesn’t use the points system to track driver infractions, so you don’t need to be concerned about having too many points! However, your license could still be suspended if you get more than three tickets in one year, so try to take things a little more slowly for a while to avoid any further charges.
That’s not to say that there won’t be any consequences for getting a ticket or two, though. Even one speeding ticket can still increase your insurance rates within the state, so be very careful if you want to avoid higher monthly rates in the future.
