How do I turn off Valet Mode on a Tesla?
I recently got a Tesla Model 3. I turned Valet Mode on when I went to dinner last week as I was using the valet service. I completely forgot until now that it’s on, and I can’t remember how to turn it off. How can I turn off Valet Mode in my Tesla?

Teslas have a ton of great features, including Valet Mode! That said, it can be difficult to remember how everything works in a new car, so understandably you may need a refresher. Luckily, turning off Valet Mode on a
Tesla Model 3
is quite simple. To turn off Valet Mode on a Tesla, you’ll need to access the Tesla App or use the LCD touchscreen in your car. If you choose to use the touchscreen:
- Put your Model 3 in park.
- Select the driver profile icon in the top corner of the touchscreen.
- You should see an option for Valet Mode.
- When you select it, the system will prompt you to enter the four-digit PIN you created when enabling Valet Mode.
Once you enter the correct PIN, your Tesla should return to its normal functions and remove any limitations.
In the Tesla app, select Controls to disable Valet Mode.
