How many Jeeps were made in WW2?

I’m a bit of a history buff, so I was thinking about the transportation and vehicles they used in WWII. I heard that Jeep—or Willys—built a ton of vehicles for the war effort, but I’ve never heard an actual figure. How many vehicles did Jeep make for the war effort in WWII?

Jeep, known back then as Willys, produced 363,000 vehicles for WWII. They were contracted to produce lightweight vehicles with four-wheel drive that could be carried across the Atlantic Ocean at a premium. Few of these vehicles still exist, and many were destroyed, but it gives you a solid idea of the war effort against Nazi Germany at the height of the war.
