How exciting! After getting your provisional driver’s license and completing a driver’s education course, 50 hours of supervised driving are required before you can get a license in
if you are under 17. If you don’t take driver’s ed, you must complete 100 hours of supervised driving training.
You’ll also need to make sure your parent or legal guardian logs all driving experience hours using the Practice Driving Log provided by the Oregon DMV. When you apply for your full license, you will need to bring a completed and signed copy of this log to the DMV.
