How many cars can I add to my insurance?

I want to add my mom and brother to my car insurance policy. That would be three cars total. What is the maximum number of vehicles allowed on a single insurance policy?

“Most companies allow you to add four or five cars to your insurance. There is no state-regulated limit for cars or drivers on a single policy, so it’s solely up to the insurance provider.
In most cases, if you have more vehicles than what is allowed, the insurance company will require that you get a separate policy for the additional vehicles.
For example, let’s say you need to insure five cars, but your provider only allows four. You would be required to have two insurance policies. One would be for four cars; the other would be for the fifth.
Since many car insurance companies offer multi-vehicle discounts, they limit the number of vehicles on a policy to help prevent misuse of discounts. It also prevents a business from insuring their vehicles on a personal auto policy.
Regardless, you should have no issue adding your mom and your brother to your policy!
