How many cars are in Kansas?

I'm going out of the country on work for three months. I'm going to a city with great public transit, so I won't need a car, or car insurance. However, I obviously still want my insurance to be in place when I get back. Is there any way to pause my car insurance coverage rather than cancel it?

Why does the cost of my home insurance policy keep going up? I haven't made any changes or filed any claims. My agent said this is just how homeowner's policies work. Is that true?

Why can't I have whatever coverage I want? I have an old 2000 Chevy, but it is in mint condition. I want to make sure it is fully covered, but my agent keeps telling me that I shouldn't have a comprehensive and collision on such an old car.
