How many Buick GNX were made?

I was at a car show last weekend when I laid eyes on a Buick GNX. It was awesome! I’ve owned a few Buick vehicles throughout my life, but I don’t know anything about this particular model. How many GNX models did Buick make?

Only 547 Buick GNX were made in 1987, making it one of the rarest Buick vehicles ever produced.
Standing for Grand National Experimental, the GNX was a type of Buick Regal that mixed the aggressive 80s styling of the Regal with tons of extra power. Its 3.8-liter V6 engine made 276 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque, and the GNX could go from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds.
Driving a GNX into your driveway is an expensive venture—the last GNX went for $275,000 at auction. While you may never get the opportunity to own a GNX, you can always keep your
