How many BMW 333i models were made?
I’m doing a report on 1980s sports cars and came across a BMW I hadn’t heard of before: the 333i. It seems like they could be a rare model. How many of them were made?

333i models were made. This powerhouse coupe was manufactured exclusively for the South African market between 1985 and 1987. The BMW 333i is part of the second generation of 3 Series known as E30, which was produced from 1982 to 1994. In the mid-80s, one of the most sought-after 3 Series models was the ultra-sporty E30
M3
, but it wasn’t sold in South Africa. Since the 333i had such a big engine, buyers had to choose between power steering and air conditioning. Seeing as it was only sold in South Africa, the majority of 333is have air conditioning. Other notable 333i features include skinny, racing-style tires and a right-hand side steering column.
