were made in 2014, it is clear that about 75,000 were sold at the end of this model’s 1st generation production in 2014. While Ford limited its production to keep anticipation and market value high, the Raptor isn’t exactly rare. The 2014 Ford Raptor is a high-performance version of the
F-150
, designed specifically for off-roading. It features a number of enhancements over the F-150, including a high-strength steel frame, a specially-tuned suspension, and a powerful engine.You could purchase the 2014 Raptor with two different engine options—a 6.2-liter V8 with 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, or a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Both engines were equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Raptor was also equipped with a number of off-road-specific technologies, such as Hill Descent Control and an Off-Road Mode for the stability control system.
The Raptor continues to be one of the most popular high-performance trucks on the market today, even amidst the rise of EV truck competitors, such as Rivian.
