How many 2004 Ford Thunderbirds were made?

I love the idea of owning an early 2000s convertible. But how many 2004 Ford Thunderbirds were made?

Ford produced nearly 70,000
Ford Thunderbirds
over the eleven generations. Of those, more than 12,000 2004 Ford Thunderbirds were made.
The Thunderbird was initially introduced in 1954 with a 1955 model year, largely to compete with other sports cars like the
Chevrolet Corvette
.
After discontinuing the Thunderbird in 1997,
Ford
reintroduced the eleventh generation of this classic in the early 2000s. All 2004 models were available as two-door convertibles, with hardtops being optional.
Ultimately, low sales numbers played a role in discontinuing the Thunderbird for the last time after the eleventh generation in 2005.
While they’re not exceptionally common, it’s not unheard of to see them pop up for sale, so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled for one if you’re serious about having a 2004 Ford Thunderbird for yourself.
Based on Kelley Blue Book’s numbers, a 2004 Ford Thunderbird convertible in good condition could commonly sell for between $9,000 and $12,000.
