How long is the BMW CPO warranty?
I’ve been searching for a luxury car and I think BMW is my favorite out of all of them. After visiting my local dealership, I found great value in the certified pre-owned vehicles on the lot. However, I’m a bit nervous that the warranty won’t cover me. What is the warranty for a BMW CPO?

Don’t stress if you want to buy a certified pre-owned BMW. The German automaker has one of the best warranties in the industry, offering a bumper-to-bumper 5-year, unlimited-mile warranty on all of its BMW CPO vehicles from the original in-service date. Essentially, this means that whatever is left over from the 4-year, 50,000-mile new car warranty rolls over into the BMW CPO warranty.
All defects in manufacturing and workmanship are covered by the BMW CPO warranty, including:
- Interior and exterior parts
- Propellor shaft and drive assembly
- Fuel system, steering system, suspension, and brakes
- Transmission, engine, drivetrain, and electrical components
