How long is a Nissan warranty on my transmission?

How long does the Nissan transmission warranty last? I know that transmission repairs can be really expensive, so I’m wondering if my warranty might cover some of the cost.

Your transmission is included in your powertrain warranty. At
Nissan
, a standard powertrain warranty lasts for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. This means that if you reach 60,000 miles in your third year of car ownership, Nissan won’t cover your transmission repairs any longer.
Keep in mind that if your transmission issues are due to poor maintenance, Nissan might refuse to cover your car repairs. As such, it’s important to discuss your options with your dealer to learn more about transmission coverage and how that applies in your specific case.
