How long is a Jeep Wrangler warranty?

I’ve always wanted to buy a Jeep Wrangler and I finally have the financial means to do so! However, I want to make sure I’m protected against a lemon or other issues that may arise from owning a new car. What is the warranty on a new Jeep Wrangler?

The new Jeep Wrangler comes with a two-part warranty that pays for repairs and replacement parts due to a manufacturer defect or poor craftsmanship. This warranty includes:
  • A 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty that covers 800 parts pertaining to the drivability of the vehicle, including the engine, transmission, drivetrain, and more
  • A 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty that covers 5,000 parts—also known as a bumper-to-bumper warranty
Once the warranty expires, you’re on your own to pay for
