Rivian has two vehicles out in 2022—the R1T and the R1S. Both are equipped with a 135 kWh lithium-ion battery, but the R1S SUV offers 316 total miles of all-electric range, while the R1T truck only offers 314 miles of all-electric range.
Your actual range will ultimately vary based on various factors (other than your vehicle’s body style), such as driving conditions, driving habits, and more.
Traveling with your Rivian might get much easier very soon, as the manufacturer wants to install its own fast-charging Rivian Adventure charging stations at approximately 600 sites along popular travel sites. If built, they’ll deliver up to 140 miles of range in as little as 20 minutes.
