All-wheel drive systems can vary from vehicle to vehicle, which can get confusing. There’s actually no button you need to press to turn on all-wheel drive in an equipped Mazda CX-5.
It will respond to driving conditions as needed.
In optimal driving conditions, the Mazda CX-5 might only send power to the front wheels to save fuel, but when its sensors detect that more control is needed, it will respond by sending power to all four wheels.
