How do you turn off a BMW navigation system?

Once I know where I’m going, I like to turn off navigation so that I’m less distracted while driving. But I can’t figure out how to in my new car! How do I stop navigating in a BMW?

That’s totally understandable! To turn off a

navigation system, you’ll need to select the icon that looks like an arrow next to a dot. Then, select Stop navigation to turn off your maps.

If you get lost again, you can select Resume navigation to turn your directions back on. So convenient!

Alternatively, you can just turn off the voice commands by selecting the speaker icon on your screen. That way you won’t have directions coming over your speakers, but you’ll still have a map there for help if you need it.
