, you’ll use the clutch. Here’s how:- First, take your foot off the gas and let your car slow down a bit on its own.
- If you need to slow down further, press the clutch and use your gearshift to downshift to the next lowest speed.
- Carefully ease your foot off the clutch.
- You should feel your car start to slow down. If you need to, repeat this process to shift into an even lower gear.
