How do you set up Bluetooth in a 2013 GMC Sierra?
I recently bought a used 2013 GMC Sierra. I know it has Bluetooth but the previous owner didn’t give me the owner’s manual, so I don’t know how to pair my phone. How do you set up Bluetooth in a 2013 GMC Sierra?

Setting up Bluetooth in a 2013
GMC Sierra
is a simple process and can be done via voice commands or by using the multimedia screen—to set up Bluetooth using voice commands, do the following:- Put your vehicle in Park and make sure it is turned on
- Press the Push to Talk button and say Bluetooth followed by pair
- A 4-digit PIN will pop up on the screen along with a set of instructions
- Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, turn Bluetooth on, and find the device labeled Your Vehicle. Select this device and enter the 4-digit PIN provided in step 3
- If prompted, enter a name for your phone, confirm it, and let the pairing process start
To set up Bluetooth using the multimedia screen, follow these steps:
- Turn your vehicle on and put it in Park
- Find Phone Settings on the display screen and select Pair Device. The system will provide a set of instructions and a 4-digit PIN
- Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, make sure Bluetooth is turned on, and select Your Vehicle from the available devices menu
- Enter the 4-digit PIN. You’ll be asked to provide a name for your phone and confirm the name
As long as you follow either set of directions carefully, you should have no problem setting up Bluetooth in your 2013 GMC Sierra. Please note, however, that unless your 2013 GMC Sierra is equipped with a navigation system, your Bluetooth capabilities will be restricted primarily to hands-free calling.
