How do you reset the brake light on a BMW 1 Series?
Is there a way to reset the brake light on a BMW 1 Series? I got mine checked last week and new brake pads installed. Even so, the light is still on in my car.

, you’ll need to follow these steps:- Turn the ignition to ON and press the odometer reset button located on your dash.
- Hold down the button. Your display will show a yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside. Then, it will enter the service menu.
- Use your turn signal stalk to find the brake light setting.
- Press and hold the BC button on your turn signal stalk to reset the light.
