How do you renew car insurance online?

I need to renew my insurance policy, but I’m fed up with dealing with automated systems when I call my insurance company. Can I renew my policy online?

We understand that frustration. Waiting on hold or dealing with automated systems can be majorly frustrating. Fortunately, renewing your policy online should be pretty easy.
Typically,
car insurance
policies come up for renewal every six to 12 months. You may get an email or letter reminder from your insurance company that your policy is up for renewal. To renew your policy, you can go to your provider’s online portal or use their app.
You also may have signed up for auto-renewal, which would renew your policy without you having to manually do anything.
Keep in mind, your rates may have changed for the next policy period. If you’ve recently bundled policies, enrolled in paperless billing, or had a
great driving record
, you might be eligible for discounts.
On the other hand, if you’ve had to file a claim or engaged in bad driving habits, your rates may have increased.
If you don’t like your new rate, it may be time to shop for something new.
