To remove spray paint from plastic you can use acetone, rubbing alcohol, or graffiti remover. If you’re working on the inside of your car, you may want to roll your windows down for this—these carry some potent chemical smells.
You’ll probably want to try the acetone or rubbing alcohol first, as you’re more likely to already have them on hand. To use:
Soak a rag with either liquid
Wipe the area until the paint begins to lift
If that doesn’t work, you may want to pick up a bottle of graffiti remover. It’s a bit pricier than using household items, but it is highly effective and a surefire way to get the job done.
Hopefully this gets the spray paint out! Once your car is stain-free again, take a minute (and we mean just one minute) to check if you’re overpaying for your car insurance policy
