How do you put the Dodge Challenger in neutral?
I want to be prepared for any emergencies in the future so I’m not fully stranded. Can you tell me how to put my 2019 Dodge Challenger into neutral if it has no battery?

For your 2019 Dodge Challenger, you can easily put it into neutral manually. Here’s how:
- Pull out the tray next to the shifter
- Locate a red strap underneath the tray
- Pull the red tab upwards to release the latch
Once the latch is up, your car should move slightly, letting you know that it is in neutral and you’ll be able to push the car if needed. If you want to put the car back into park, push the latch back down until it clicks and locks into place. Place the tray back and everything is good to go.
