How do you program a Nissan garage door opener?
I’ve just purchased a brand new Nissan and I’m still getting used to all of its features. The sales representative at the dealership mentioned that I can program my garage door opener with the Nissan HomeLink system, but I’m not sure where to start with this. Can you help me program my Nissan garage door opener?

! We totally understand—figuring out all of the technological features in a new car can be overwhelming. Thankfully, programming your garage door opener on your Nissan is pretty easy. Just follow these steps:
- Press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons, located on the bottom of your Nissan’s rearview mirror for about 10 seconds, until the indicator light begins to blink.
- Release both buttons
- Then, hold your garage door remote about 1-3 inches away from your rearview mirror. Then, press the HomeLink button you want to program and the garage door button on the remote until the indicator light begins blinking again.
- Wait for the indicator light to change from slow blinking to rapid blinking before releasing both buttons.
- Now, press your programmed button to open your garage door. The indicator light should turn a solid red and your door should open smoothly!
