How do you pop the hood of a Honda CR-V?

I live in Chicago with my brother and drive through a lot of traffic on my way to work. I’ve been researching the pros and cons of electric cars, and I want to learn more about how the brakes work and if they are better than a car that runs on gas?

I was pulled over by a cop just outside of Richmond. He clocked me going 17 mph over the speed limit and told me that he could have given me a reckless driving ticket, but he cut me a break. I’m glad I didn’t get a ticket for that. But what’s the penalty in Virginia for reckless driving?

My car alarm keeps going off randomly—it's becoming an issue with my neighbors. I replaced the battery. Will that reset the alarm? Or do should I do something else, too?
