I recently splurged and bought my dream car, but I’m having trouble figuring out the technology features. How do you play music through Bluetooth in an Infiniti?

No matter how sweet your new ride is, getting accustomed to driving a different car can take some time and patience. Fortunately, the process to play music on your Infiniti’s Bluetooth is easy:
On your phone, open up the settings and go to Bluetooth. Turn it on and make sure it’s set to “Discoverable.”
In your Infiniti, press the MENU hard key.
On the audio system, select Settings, then Bluetooth, then Connect Device.
From here, you’ll select “Add New” to start the pairing process.
On your phone’s Bluetooth menu, look for MY-CAR in the list of discoverable devices, then select it.
A PIN code should pop up on your car’s screen. Ensure that the PINs on both the car and your phone match, then accept the pairing request on both devices.
! If you see any additional popups, just confirm and accept them to start listening to your favorite playlists!
Modern Infiniti models come standard with Bluetooth technology, but older Infiniti models didn’t offer Bluetooth audio streaming capability as standard—only certain trims on certain models had it. As a rule of thumb, you can tell an older Infiniti model has Bluetooth audio if it also has navigation capability.
