How do you open the gas tank on a Cadillac ATS?
I just got a Cadillac ATS, and I don’t know how to open the gas tank door. I don’t see a lever anywhere in the cabin. How do you get the fuel door open on a Cadillac ATS?

You can open the gas tank on a
Cadillac ATS
by pressing on the rear-center edge of the gas tank door itself. Pressing on the edge of the door will release the spring-loaded latch, and you’ll be able to pull the door open.This innovation has been throwing vehicle owners for a loop for the last little while. Many seasoned drivers are used to having a release lever or button in the cockpit, most often on the floor next to the driver’s seat.
Now that you know how to get your fuel door open, you can go ahead and pump that overpriced gas into your Caddy. Just be sure to replace the gas cap before you close the fuel tank door. If your gas cap isn’t on, or if it’s too loose, you may get a warning light on your dash.
If you do and tightening the cap doesn’t fix the issue, you should make an appointment with your nearest Cadillac dealership. A Cadillac specialist will be able to find the root of the issue, and it may even be covered by your
