How Do You Open the Gas Tank on a 2017 Ford Fusion?
I’ve rented a 2017 Ford Fusion while traveling in California and I’ll have to fill the gas tank tomorrow. The problem is, I can’t figure out how to open the gas tank. Do you know how to open the gas tank on a 2017 Ford Fusion?

First, you have to locate the fuel door. You’ll find the fuel door on the left side of your 2017 Fusion. It’ll look like a rectangular cut out on the body of your car that’s not much bigger than an outstretched palm.
Next, simply press the fuel door as if it were a button. The door should pop open, revealing a gas cap that seals off the gas tank from the outside. Simply unscrew the gas cap to access the fuel tank.
A 2017 Ford Fusion has a gas tank capacity of 16.5 gallons and an EPA-estimated combined 25 MPG. This means you’ll be able to drive about 345 city miles, or 530 highway miles, before you need to fuel up again.
