How do you open the gas tank on a 2017 Dodge Caravan?
I’m borrowing my dad’s Dodge Caravan and want to fill up the tank before I give it back but I’m having trouble finding the fuel door release lever. How do you open the gas tank on a 2017 Dodge Caravan?

You can’t find the fuel door release lever because there isn’t one in the 2017
Dodge Caravan
or any other model year. Don’t worry; opening the gas tank on the 2017 Caravan is easy. Here’s how:
- Turn off your engine
- Step outside your vehicle and locate the fuel door on the driver’s side of the vehicle
- Press the fuel door and it should spring open
- Twist the gas cap counterclockwise and remove it
When you refuel your dad’s Caravan, make sure you use the
best gasoline
for your vehicle. The 2017 Dodge Caravan takes regular gasoline with an octane rating
of 85 which is the least expensive option at the pump. You can refuel the Dodge Charger with a higher octane rating but premium gasoline may not be worth the price
