How do you open an Acura TL Type S hood?
I just got an Acura TL Type S and I can’t open the hood. I popped the hood with the release lever, but it won’t open more than two inches. How do you open an Acura TL Type S hood?

Your problem is probably your
Acura TL type S
hood’s safety latch, located under the hood itself around the center of the grille. Once you’ve popped your hood using the release lever on the left side of the instrument panel, go to the front of your vehicle and run your hand under the hood to find the safety latch. Press the safety latch to the side while opening your hood, and you should be good to go!
