How do you open a Ford Taurus key fob?
For some reason my key fob stopped working. I’m going to assume I need a new battery. How do you open a Ford Taurus key fob?

Steps | How to open a Ford Taurus key fob (2008-2019) |

Step 1 | To separate the key fob, look for a notch at the top of the key on the upper right-hand side. This is where you’ll insert your flathead screwdriver. |
Step 2 | Using a flathead screwdriver, gently push and twist to separate the two sides of the key fob. |
Step 3 | Gently pull apart the two sides of the fob with your fingers. |
Step 4 | Take out the old battery and replace with the new battery, + side up; battery # CR2032. |
Step 5 | Put the fob back together. |
