How do I take the oxidation out of car paint?
Can you remove oxidation from car paint? I've noticed some oxidation on my car and would love to get rid of it without damaging the paint.

Frustratingly, oxidation is natural and occurs on car paint due to exposure to heat and oxygen. Follow these steps to remove it:
- Wet the affected area liberally, then lightly sand it with 1200 grit sandpaper.
- Wash and dry the area to remove the debris.
- Apply a thin layer of rubbing compound.
- Hold an orbital polisher over the affected area until the oxidation is gone (approximately 10-20 seconds).
