How do you fix a car window that won’t go up?
My front passenger’s window is stuck halfway down. I heard it’s going to rain all weekend. How can I fix my window?

Oh no! Definitely not a great time for a rain shower! While you’ll likely need to take it to an
auto body shop
to get the window fixed permanently, you can temporarily fix it yourself!With someone in the car with you, try these steps:
- Turn the car on.
- Get your partner to hold the window switch in the up direction and try slamming the door. If that doesn’t work, try slamming the door again.
- You can also try hitting the door with your hand. Start with the outside of the door, but if that doesn’t work, try the inside as well.
- If it’s still stuck, put the glass between your two hands and attempt to lift it, with your partner still holding the switch.
Ideally, one of these options should get the window up before the rain. If none of these options work, you could opt for plastic on the window until you can see a
