My kid and I were playing catch last night and well, let’s just say a baseball ended up in my car. How do I fix the broken window?

The joys of children, baseball games and broken windows included! The good news is that fixing the window isn’t too difficult.
It may be easier to take your car to a professional to have them fix your window, but if you want to DIY it, do the following:
  • Inspect the damage carefully. Vacuum any debris and glass from the vehicle.
  • Remove the door panel and remove any remaining glass.
  • Insert a brand new side window.
  • Test the regulator to ensure the window functions properly.
  • Replace the door panel.
  • Do a final sweep inside the car, looking for any loose glass shards.
