I like the auto stop feature on my GMC Sierra, but sometimes I just prefer to have it off. I figured this out once before, but now I’ve forgotten again! How do you disable a 2020 GMC Sierra’s auto stop?

To disable your auto stop/start feature on your 2020

, you need to press the auto start/stop button, which looks like a capital A with a revolving circle around it.

To turn auto stop/start back on, press the button again. The auto start/stop disable switch should be found on a button just below the front climate controls.

After you completely shut off your vehicle, the feature will automatically turn back on the next time you start it.
