How do you delete a Bluetooth device from a Honda Civic 2014?
I recently got a new phone, but I noticed my car wasn’t pairing with it automatically. I think it’s because my old phone is still paired with it. How can I remove my old phone from my Honda Civic 2014?

Getting a new phone is so exciting, but it certainly comes with a bit of a learning curve—and that includes pairing it with your car’s Bluetooth. Driving with Bluetooth to make hands-free calls or texts is one great way to make sure you’re being a
safe driver
…but it can become a hassle if your car is automatically trying to pair to an old phone. Luckily, the answer is easy to get to.- Press the Phone button on your infotainment console.
- Select Phone Setup from the menu.
- Using the radio knob, scroll until you see System Clear.
- Select Bluetooth Setup.
- Scroll down to Delete Device, then select “Yes” to confirm.
Now the old device should be history! Now just set up your new phone with Bluetooth so you can get back to playing Taylor Swift’s new album on repeat. Happy driving!
