How do you delete a Bluetooth device from a 2019 Honda Accord?
I just purchased a used 2019 Honda Accord and noticed the previous owner’s Bluetooth device is still attached. How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a 2019 Honda Accord?
Follow these steps to delete a Bluetooth device from the 2019 Honda Accord:
On your Accord’s infotainment system, select the “Settings” button. Use the control stick to scroll to “Phone Settings” and select it. Then, scroll to “Bluetooth Device List” and select it.
Look through the paired devices and select the one you would like to delete. (If there are multiples, you’ll need to do it one at a time.) Select this device and then click ”delete this device.”
A confirmation will appear—select yes.
And that’s it! Your phone has been deleted from your Accord’s infotainment system.
Now that you’ve deleted the previous owner’s device, you can add your own. Here’s how to do it:
Put your vehicle in Park with the ignition in the ON state.
Select “Home,” “Phone” and then “Connect Phone” on your Accord’s infotainment system.
Power on your device and enable Bluetooth. Then, select “HandsFreeLink” (the Honda Accord) in your device’s Bluetooth devices list.
Return to the infotainment system and select your device’s name.
A pairing code will appear on the screen. Confirm that this is the same pairing code that appears on your device.
Select if you would like your device to have one or both “Audio” and “Phone” Bluetooth connectivities.
With Bluetooth, you can listen to music or make hands-free calls while you drive. Just make sure you make use of
