How do you connect via Bluetooth to a Mercedes-Benz GLE 350?
I recently bought a Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 and am having trouble connecting my phone to the vehicle’s Bluetooth system. How do you connect via Bluetooth to a Mercedes-Benz GLE 350?

Assuming you have a newer-model Mercedes-Benz GLE 350, the process by which you can connect a device via Bluetooth is pretty simple, though it certainly isn’t the most intuitive. Follow the steps below to connect a Bluetooth device to your Mercedes-Benz GLE 350:
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone or device you wish to pair and that the device is “visible” to other devices.
Press the house-shaped icon on your vehicle’s multimedia screen and select “Phone.”
Select the icon that depicts two phones (one in the foreground and one in the background) and then select “Connect New Device.”
The system will start scanning for in-range devices to add to the list.
Select the phone you wish to pair from the list. The multimedia screen will then change to display a code—make sure this code matches the one displayed on your mobile device’s screen.
Confirm the code on your mobile device to finish the Bluetooth authorization process.
As long as you follow these instructions, you should have no problem connecting a device via Bluetooth to your Mercedes-Benz GLE 350.
Unlike many vehicles, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 can support using two connected phones at a time—the phone displayed in the foreground controls the multimedia functions, while the phone in the background can receive incoming calls/messages.
Keep in mind, however, that the vehicle cannot be in motion while you attempt to connect a device.
