How do you connect Bluetooth to an Infiniti QX50?
My partner and I just purchased a newer Infiniti QX50 and we’re trying to figure out how we can start making wireless calls. How do you connect Bluetooth to an Infiniti QX50?

There’s definitely a learning curve when getting to know a new car’s bells and whistles.
- On your phone, make sure Bluetooth is on
- In your QX50, press “Menu” on your control panel, then “Settings” on your touchscreen, then “Bluetooth”—the “on” circle will be green if Bluetooth is currently enabled (you can turn it on by pressing the “on” button if it’s not)
- In the same Bluetooth Settings menu, press “Connect Device”
- Press “Add New” (you can add up to five)
- A PIN will appear on your Infiniti’s screen—look on your phone, select “My Car” as an available device, and ensure that the PIN that appears matches
Your device is now connected and will pair automatically each time you enter your Infiniti and Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. If you wish to disconnect a device at any time, just go to the Bluetooth menu, select “Connect Device,” select your device, and hit “Delete Device.”
And that’s it! You can now make calls hands-free in your QX50 by using voice commands or hitting the phone icon button on your steering wheel. Just make sure you exercise caution as you do so—Bluetooth calls can still lead to
distracted driving
